There’s no stupid Cupid

I’m actually wondering who Cupid is doing this Valentines Day? Being a smart little bugger, I’m quite sure he will be Doing It Knowledgeably. Face it, with all the love he pours out, he deserves TLC and something extra special too. Just think about how generous Cupid really is. Then you might consider that a bit of reciprocation is due. In my view, it may be possible that the he Cupid is actually a she. I’ll Perhaps there are Twin Cupids doing double duty. Especially this year, what the world really needs now is “love sweet love.” So now when the little angel (s) takes aim, remember that a chance at love is given. What a gift! For what we do with that gift is entirely up to us. Point is, if your lucky enough to get hit with one of those magic arrows, open your heart, be sweet with your words, and let that special someone know that you want to go down on them and that you promise not to forget their name.

The Villages

This is interesting if not downright “dirty” and funny.  My 1. 5 year old son and I recently took a 3 week holiday this past December in Florida to visit his 70 year + Grandma, my mother. He doesn’t get to see her so often because we came flew in from Kyoto, Japan where we live. Grandma and Grandpa have fell in love with an interesting place called The Villages about 1 hour from Orlando. Known as “Americas friendliest place to live,” The Villages offers a pristine environment, primarily made up of retirees, with over 30 manicured golf courses, done-up clubhouses and community centers, designer homes and villas, plus their very own tv and radio station and newspaper. As an active lifestyle community, there’s also as many activities far beyond what any summer sleep-away camp could ever think of. This pretty little city also comes with another juicy tidbit that I shared with Grandma before she made her final decision to buy and move down from Colorado. The first week I was there, major network news and supported by a feature newspaper article announced that The Villages is rated as Florida’s Number 1 city for the most reported cases of STDs. Now I know that those who live there are pretty much past their child bearing years. However, smart sex and keeping it safe is still the best policy. Because evidently, folks in The Villages are not past their prime. So watch those toilet seats at the clubhouse Grandma. They could be nasty;)

DIK. Do It Knowledgeably

There’s no doubt that I’m pretty heady about my favorite position when I’m working it. That’s being the Founder of DIK. Do It Knowledgebly™. While DIK is a fun, campy acronym referring to the Do It Knowledgeably brand, I assure you that it is certainly a much Bigger Idea whose time has come. DIK is Savvy, Sexy, Smart, Wholesome, Practical, Realistic, Educational, Non-Judgmental, Natural, Global and truly Open-Minded. Beyond the incredible assortment of products that our company is bringing out and more exciting stuff on the way, I love the fact that the DIK philosophy is also hard to argue down. One would be hard pressed to do so and I welcome the debate. That said, I leave you with two quick sound bytes that have been working for me so far. 1) From the land who brought you “Just Do It,” isn’t it’s better to “Do It Knowledgeably.” 2) While “Safe Sex” is great, “Smart Sex” is even better. Join myself and some other very knowledgeable people who have brought DIK to life. Let’s us know what you think.
